Dean Turnbull (the Director of Advantage Building) has over 15 years experience in the building and construction industry. Dean’s career has involved many aspects of building including working for large commercial building companies as a site manager overseeing projects to the value of $12 million. Some of these projects included the construction of the Highlander apartments and Rubicon apartments in Sydney. These were high spec/finish apartments with 100 units per building. Other projects included the construction of Hoxton Park Public School, building the new gatehouse to the Goulburn maximum security jail,Tottenham Court Estate in London and recently The Harriott at The Entrance.
In 2002 Dean started his own building company Advantage Building Pty Ltd on the Central Coast. Advantage Building’s focus is on residential construction building architecturally designed homes, extensions to homes including pole homes, internal renovations, structural work, decks and pergolas, timber floors, bathroom renovations and landscaping.

As forward thinkers within the building industry we invest our time and money into apprenticeship schemes for the youth of the central coast. We support apprentices through both the HIA – Housing Industry Association and through the MBA - Master Builders Association.
This year Luke Garraway will be completing his 4 year apprenticeship. He has decided to continue to work with us as well as go on and spend another 3 years studying so he can obtain his builders licence. Congratulations and Good Luck Luke!
